I have used the scope at the range and at work. Up to about, 75power it performs well but after that, the optics take a nose dive. I understood I wasn't buying a top dollar spotter but I had expected better quality than I received. I needed a spotter scope for target shooting in the 500 to 1000 yard range if this scope held its clarity to full power it would have worked...

I have used this spotting scope for both sighting in a 22 rifle and for looking at eagles. I could see the the bullet holes in the white fine. Some of the holes in the black I could not see. This was at about 100 yds on a bright sunny day. At 100 yds I could get a decent image up to 75 power. Focusing on a fence pole at about 250 yds I could get a decent image all.
